Dragon not basking

Hello,
I am a new bearded dragon owner. I rescued my beardie from a previous owner that was neglecting him a little bit. I have his cage set up with a nice basking area that provides plenty of heat. My beardie would often open his mouth while basking and I would often find him laying there.

In the past couple of days I have noticed that he is not wanting to lay on his basking rock but is hanging out in the corner of his cage. He is propped up against the rock and raises his head to be closer to the lamp.

He has also been less active-he used to frequently glass surf and claw at the glass in the afternoons, but yesterday he did not exhibit this behavior.

I am a little concerned he is not being as active but he does not look unhealthy. On Monday he pooped twice and he was eating regularly, yesterday he ate some crickets but did not touch his salad.

any advice?
