My hubby and I went drag racing this last weekend and he took 2nd place and a trophy.We don't do this much and enjoy it when we do.I won 3rd place last year at the same race and took rookie of the year,first time I had ever raced.We had a blast. They had a jet fuel car there too,AWESOME!!!

Sorry I haven't been on much! I have been having trouble sitting or walking for any length of time lately.I do have a couple of pics to share.I have one of Mark at the starting line,was hard to get a picture of myself coming off the line though.This was an all mopar weekend and we had a really good time.Here is Mark fighting for 1st place actually,but he came in runner up still great though.THe old bird he went up against is oer 80 years old and has been racing since the 1960's.

That's the right picture,all mopar weekend,that's a highly modified dodge truck. Trucks cars etc.........all ran against each other as long as they were in the same class.We were running in the slant six class.Dodge funny truck,80+year old driver.LOLOLL

Meril is a trip!! He's anybody's "grampa" in the pits,but get to the starting line and he's one "sneaky snake" He'll try anything to unnerve you(nothing bad just fake you out and stuff,sneaky snake.He's 80+ years old,but young at heart.This man was in a horrible car accident,put him and his brother both in the hospital,still out racing...........
