Dogs and Dragons?

Hi all, I have seen several posts with beardies on cats and dogs, etc., and I am curious as to how this happens?

I was outside with Artemis today, just sitting on the deck, when my dog walked over for some attention. I was careful with my beardie, cause I wasn't sure how my dog would react, and next thing I know Artemis is dive bombing out of my hands and attempting to flee under the deck. Thankfully I grabbed her, and the dogs are definitely on a meter-away-at-all-times for now.

Is it just a time thing or are some beardies more tolerant of other animals? Artemis was tormented by her ex-owners cat (it would paw at the glass and she would jump at her) so I am wondering if that has a large role in her skittishness.

It was a process introducing our cats to our dragons. Everytime I would take the dragons out of the tank or put them back I would go around to each cat and show them the dragon. They eventually got used to the dragons out of the cage and about the house. They are all pretty good together but I still watch them all closely to make sure nothing happens.

My dog shows a lot of interest in the dragons and snakes, but all of them seem thoroughly uninterested in her. The one exception was when Fenchurch jumped off my lap, trying to get onto the dog's back for who knows what reason.

My Chihuahua is actually a little scared of her :p. My Dutch Shepherd on the other hand is very interested in my little girl. He smells her and just looks. Lizzy actually wanted to chase my shepherd once :D. But i'm still very careful because the Shepherd get's a little excited, and you never know what he's gonna do.

My oldest cat is completely oblivious to the dragons! Twice this weekend she completely just stepped on Dexter as if she wasn't even there and then she just plopped down and layed on Dexter's tail LOL!

My dogs try to ignore Hef when he's out. My chihuahua got a little Hef kiss and got so excited. He used to play with our rat Opi. I think they'll be friends once they even out in size.
