Does my lady look good.

We just picked up this beauty one week ago. I am wanting to make sure she is looking good. We are loving her!! She loves to eat [emoji3] and is so sweet and loves being held. I was told she is 1 1/2 years old. Not sure if that is the right age though when we got her she was being housed in a very small tank with only a heat lamp. First thing we did was went and got her food and a larger tank I am waiting on substrate to get here and her roaches.

We where told Sani-chips. Which I got a small amount to se what it is. And if I feel it will work if not we where also told play sand after sifted and cleaned. But not sure what we will end up using. Do you have any recommendations?? I know that the sand they sell at the pet store is not good. So for now I will stick with the pet carpet tell I find something safe

had to google sani-chips. i would not recommend it. or sand. of any kind. i have repti-carpet for both my kids. some folks use tile. some use newspaper or paper towels. sand and chips can be swallowed. can lead to impaction. can lead to a very distressed kid. not good. please please please dont

I agree with Canicke please just stay with the repti carpet, tiles, paper towels, contact paper, newspaper

All I would say is just buy a couple of the repti carpets so when your cleaning 1 and waiting for it to dry you have another to put in so rotating them around.. I use the carpet on Izzy's hot side and all of the bottom I have contact paper...

I use repticarpet too. I discovered something that works great for spot cleaning. Natures Miracle makes a doggie deodorizing bath wipe it smells like jasmine and sage. I've been using it for spot cleaning in Dolly's tank because she pees so much. I'm sure a baby wipe or even a one of those wet toilet paper things would work too. I bought these because I use the Natures Miracle products on our floors because of the cats and we've had success with it. I've also used it to wipe off Dolly's feet when she runs through her urate
