I've had salvatore for 2 months now and he's been doing great! Yesterday he was being very lethargic and had a very soft poop. But he was still eating regularly so I thought everything was fine. This morning he hasn't been lethargic, back to his regular self but having nasty poop. It had formed urate in it but the rest is mushy. Here's a pic

What is his diet? Alot of fruits and squash will cause runny stools - basking temps should be 105-110 taken w/ a digital probe thermometer and UVB No coils- long tube fixture w/ proper placement and distance- does the poop smell so bad it makes you want to leave the room?

No, it barely smells, its just like a normal poop smell. He did have raspberries last night and I try to feed him squash but he only really ever eats it once in awhile. But why would it be green? And yes, I have the proper uvb tube lighting. His diet in the morning is a tons of crickets and then some turnip greens. Then I end the day off with more crickets and a small salad, yesterday it was turnip greens, raspberries and salad. He is 4 months old

Crickets can give parasites- if your temps are correct what are you using for a UVB? Brand and bulb please? Where in the tank? Top of screen inside?

I'm using a arcadia pro t5 uvb tube light and it is onto of my mesh lid, but all the decor in his tank are about 6-8 inches away from the lid

Ok so the T 5 can sit on top of tank as long as the screen is a wide holed type- if it's a fine mesh like a screen door it needs to be in the tank approx 12-15 inches from decor-- screens block about 30% of the rays-- get your uvb situated first see if it doesn't straighten out the poop-- if it does not call your vet see if you can drop off a fecal for testing- and go from there-- here is a website to find a vet in your area. www.arav.org
