I was wondering if my bearded dragon doesn't like going poo cause ever since she was a few weeks old she would stop eating when she was gonna need to go. and she scratches her enclosure walls when she is about to go. sometimes she hides in the shade and she doesn't digest. i replace uvb every year and the heat is at 108 on the hot side and 87 on the cold side. if this is normal then please tell me. she is in a 75 gallon. and she is 5 now (btw she is needing to go in the picture and I took her out from under the log)

Do not reaplace her uvb every year that Is way to long you replace it every 6-8 months just because the bulb is still working does not mean it is still giving out the right amount of uvb please replace it every 6-8 months

Zontar gets black bearded when he does his business. Almost like he’s offended he did the nasty. Then his beard goes back to normal. He scratches at his glass when it takes me too long to clean up his mess. He despises not having a clean tank.

What kinds of veggies is she getting? And bugs? (Some bugs can be harder to diget as your beardie grows) Is that romaine lettuce in her bowl? My girl will go crazy runing around her tank and then poo and be calm the rest of the day.

she gets collard greens, mustard greens, bell peppers, cilantro, apples, pears, and carrots. mostly I feed collard greens or mustard with a little bit of the other stuff I said mixed in. also I put calium powder. right now she gets freezer dried crickets and mealworms because I am in the process of breeding dubias before that she was eating mealworms that I breed

Also some advice you should proboly put some for stuff in ther like some sticks or another hide. You don’t have to but I’m sure your dragon would like that

My guy doesn't mind doing is business, but he's the same way after he's done it. He wants as far away from it as possible and sometimes will even go into his hide and wait for me to take care of it. 'Course I've always been fanatic about cleaning up his messes so I think I created his phobia. lol

Thats good ur breeding dubia, if ur noticing she really has to push to poop you might want to back off the meal worms, and change to super worms (meal worms have higher chitin levels) and that could be making it harder for her to poo , if u notice bits of exoskeleton id definitely make a switch, ive fed superworms for about 6 months now and my beardies poops come out solid football shaped , next time ur beardie poos take a pic, u can learn alot from looking at their poo.

U can order something called corkbark, they’re light and easy to clean, you want your beardie to have as many different textures in his tank as possible, do u have that turf tacked down?
