Is there a certain way you should give your bearded dragons it's food? I usually feed in a separate bin but is there different ways I could do it? I feed him Dubia roaches. can I put them in a dish and see if he eats them from there or just stick with feeding in a separate bin?

Mine always got stressed when I moved them to another container to eat. They would sometimes eat though if I put them on the floor and put the food in front of them. I feed them in their tank and put one bug in at a time and wait for them to eat it before I put in the next. Sometimes if I'm short on time, I'll put the bugs in the salad.

Mine freak out if I try to feed them in a different container so the bowls work for me..

Mine gets fed in his enclosure - salad in a bowl and insects hand fed so I can keep track of how many he eats and make sure there are no escapees running around the enclosure. You can use tongs if you are nervous about hand feeding him in the tank - mine has pretty good aim but he did accidentally bite me once, and it broke the skin and hurt!!!

Can I just put them in a dish and have him eat them from there?

Totally, and if you find a dubia escape proof dish, pleae let me know! I haven't found one that they cannot escape, and I don't like having loose insects living in his tank. Just harder to clean and keep track of what he is eating

Since mine is a baby I have small roaches. So what I use is just a plain old mealworm dish with the curved sides. I've kept my eye on them and they seem to have no idea how to get out.

Ah that makes sense. My boy gets large roaches, that dish definitely doesn't work for those monsters hahaha!

Yep you can. I have a glass bowl for my salads and a glass dish for the bugs the sides are about an inch + and smooth so the bugs can't get out.
