For the last two weeks Bayne has been acting unusual. In the mornings he's normal, active, eats normally and everything. Around 6:30-7pm he starts to get sleepyish and when he's out of his enclosure all he wants to do is cuddle up in your lap or on your chest and fall asleep. Also, he has stopped eating at night. Bayne use to eat 3x a day (plus unlimited veggies which he ate a lot of) but during the second feeding he wasn't eating as many and eventually it cut down to not wanting any at all. Now that he's getting sleepy around 6:30-7, when it's time to eat before bed, he won't eat. We can maybe get him to take two dubias and a couple bites of his greens. He's also cut down to eating veggies only 3-4 times a day and sometimes doesn't eat all of it like he use to. He hasn't lost any weight though and during the day, he seems like normal Bayne. He's about 4-5 months old. The last we measured him which was last week, from head to tail tip he was 12.5inches. Is this normal or should I be panicking?

As your beardie starts to get older, it will get lazier! I feed mine turnip greens and butternut squash in the morning and then around 4 I feed him smaller dubias.. When he was still a juvenile I also gave him dragon pellets with the dubias. When they are young they will eat more dubias than veggies! As they get older they should eat more veggies than dubias.
Some days I've noticed mine doesn't want to eat and other days he does. I always put his food in his terrarium and if he doesn't want it fine.
Mine is active throughout the day and as the evening comes he sleeps! I don't feed mine after about 6, they need time to digest before turning off the lights at bedtime!
Has yours pooped recently?
Overall sounds pretty normal to me!

Oh, thank you! That was the other part, Bayne has switched from going to the bathroom daily, to every other day. I knew beardies did this, but I wasn't aware he was old enough already.

P.S. Baynes lights go on at 10 & off at 10 so I feed him at 6:30-7 usually so he has time to digest before lights off. Maybe I should try around ten and five?

Critter gets sleepy at around 6:30-7:00 too. We just don't feed him after 5, or as soon as we get home. I think with as early as it's getting light now, he just wakes up early and goes to bed early.

I turn mine on in the morning at 7 and turn them off at about 830 at night!

As they get older they start to change. Wanting to eat 2 meals instead of 3 then one meal instead of 2. As they eat less, their bathroom habits will change. It's also normal for them to start tucking themselves in hours before lights go out. It's all good stuff, just means they are growing up.

Yep all seems normal to me as well.. Izzy's lights go on at 7am and off at 9pm but she is on my lap and asleep by 6pm typically. She used to poo once a day and now she will go anywhere from every other to lately 5-6 days... Yep they do get kinda lazy so I like to try and get her out for some exercise time and she likes to swim in her bath..
