What is the best diet for baby beardies? I have read some conflicting info, so I figured I would ask the experts! I have had my two for about a week now, and so far I have them eating crickets, kale and some other veggies. I have ordered some pheonix worms, as well. The babies are about 4.5-5" and I think about 7 1/2 weeks old.

The best diet is one that mainly consists of live insects 2-3 times per day, and offer them good veggies like the green colored items on this list: http://www.beautifuldragons.com/Nutrition.html. Crickets and roaches make the best feeders in my opinion, just make sure they are the same size or smaller as the space between your dragon's eyes.

Lots of people recommend Phoenix worms as a staple, but I don't. :D I raise my own roaches and buy crickets. I like the level of control I get from raising and gut-loading them myself, and the thought of me feeding my dragon thousands (or even hundreds) of worms a week is a bit unsettling for me.

P.S. Where are my manners? Welcome to the forums!!!
