Hello,

I am very interested in getting a bearded dragon, but I have a problem with the diet side of things. I think I want to get a baby (Not quite sure yet) but from doing research I found that the size food you should feed is only as long as the space between the beardies eyes. I live near a small town and our one pet shop recently closed, the only place I can get live crickets is from a hunting and fishing store, so you can imagine that the crickets aren't going to be very small. And I really don't want to deal with breeding crickets. Is it possible to feed a baby beardy canned food until it's big enough to eat the crickets available?

I do not recommend canned as a staple. Their are a lot of online suppliers you can order from and deliver right to your house. You can order from 250 or more and they are also roaches, reptiworms as well.

Yep for sure order online way cheaper, and you don't want to feed canned food they need live, and I wouldn't trust what the fishing supply feeds them.. Dubia roaches are really good feeders
