I’m really worried about my bearded dragon, I usually feed a mixture of Dubai roaches and Superworms and collard greens and dandelion greens… but the last 3 times she pooped they have been runny in the past month and then today I found this… Should I be worried? Should I take her to the vet?

Good diet- what are your basking temps and how are you taking them? You want a digital probe thermometer- those will give actual surface basking temps? The poop looks like it has undigested bugs that would be not high enough temps-- the extra liquid in the paper towel means he's hydrated- what are you using for a uvb? This is really important as well- is it a coil or tube?

Usually her basking spot is like 100 degrees, the cool side is 80… I had an infrared thermometer but my boyfriend broke it I need to wait until I get paid to get another one… she has a tube UV light, but we just rescued her a few months ago, and they told me the bulb needed to be replaced in August… so I’m saving up to get her new lighting hopefully within the next month Bc I just don’t trust the previous owners.

I was worried it’s too hot in her tank.. she usually keeps her mouth open and her head pointed up. Almost like she is panting. She eats more super worms than Dubais.

Please lay off the super worms those should be used for treats -- 1-3 every other day or so and if she gets stubborn then cut them back more ---please tell me what the UVB tube is brand and bulb is it a T 5 or T 8 --- this is important as they have certain distance and placement for best effectiveness of the rays -- I would of replaced it anyway as you really dont know how old the bulb is - if its T 8 it is way over time of expiration and is doing no good - if its a T 5 I would replace it in July-- the bulb is only going to cost around $21 or so -- I can help you get set up for lighting but this UVB is extremely important --- as of right now she is getting sick w/ no UVB ---- if it has warmed up where you are get her outside every day or every other day direct sunlight --let her sit on you for as long as you can but at least 15 min this will help her till you get the new bulb or UVB lighting -- just let me know what your using so I can guide you to a good one --

Right now she has a T8.. I thought the bulb and hood needed to be replaced once a year? My baby isn’t even a year old yet…. I will go buy her a new bulb as soon as I get paid… she has a 10 UVB is that good enough? It’s 24inches and goes across her 40 gal tank… I’ll show you a picture of how I keep it on the tank with the mesh off… because I read that sometimes the UVB isn’t strong enough to go through the mesh…. So I believe it’s 18inches away from her because it sits on the top of her tank.

Man I feel awful, I just rescued her because the people were neglecting her… I don’t know a lot about beardie care other than what I have learned from YouTube.

Ok so what you need to do is get a new bulb as soon as you can the one she has is expired long ago - T 8 's need to be changed out every 6 months I recommend every 5 -- when you can please upgrade the T 8 to a T 5 24 inch fixture - next please get a piece of decor place directly underneath the UVB approx 6-8 inches --- its too far away w/ the distance its at now so even if the bulb was new it would not be doing much good -- and it is good that it is unobstructed -- T 8's need to be --- a T 5 can sit on top of the screen ONLY if the screen is a wide hole type tho -- please ask more questions if you have them I can help you
