WOOT WOOT! So you all probably heard on other posts how hard it's been for me to get Dex to eat his veges even though I keep fresh salad in his cage and entice throughout the day. Yesterday afternoon I was enticing with various bits from his salad and he actually ate a piece of parsley. I almost whooped I was so happy with him. 'Course I didn't as that would have scared him, but I wanted to. He didn't eat any more and gave me a disgusted look when I held the next tidbits for him, but it's a start. :)

If he still doesn't eat more, have you tried beardie salad dressing? I've heard it works pretty well for picky dragons.

Oh, I've never heard of it. I'd love to try it. Do I just search for beardie salad dressing?

So, I tried to trick him yesterday. I put his crickets on his salad. Thought maybe he'd grab some salad up with the crickets. Nope. Lil bugger snatched them up dainty as you please and never got a single piece of his salad. Brat! hahahahaha

Last night his salad consisted of tiny pieces of fresh basil, dandelion greens, red bell pepper, and a blueberry. I placed him in front of it and got the look, "Yeah, I see it, but where's my crickets." lol That's when I tried to trick him. He wasn't even enticed by the blueberry. Sigh.

If he'll eat it with dressing, I would suggest gradually adding less and less over time, then stop using it. It also has a bonus of D3 and calcium! If he likes strawberries, he'll probably eat the dressing.

Thanks Hooman. I'll order him some now. Crossing fingers it works. So far, he's not eating strawberries even though I do add to his salad about twice a week. He won't even eat a blueberry. Gahh! Aside from that one piece of parsley he hasn't eaten anymore bits. Still eating his baby food veges though. I added a bit of calcium and his vitamins to each jar so, yeah. Sigh. I'm still enticing here and there through out the day and still leaving small salads in his tank. Mostly it goes to waste. lol
