Hello everybody! I'm new to this site and new as an owner of my bearded dragon named spyro (daughters idea) I recently went to a store to get some locusts and have a word about his diet, the lady who served us said it's ok to get dandelions out the garden and feed them to him as long as we thoroughly wash them but the lad who sold him us said we should stay away from things out the garden, both insect and plants, due to parasites. Could someone please advise, thank you in advance

Stuff from your yard isnt the best because of pesticides even if you dont treat your yard it carrys throigh the air so it may become contaminated. I just went out and dug some up and out it in a bucket and started growing my own because my girl loves the flowers on them.

I would not feed anything from the yard they greens are so cheap I just buy them at the market. I'm to lazy to grow my own.
