We are doing research in order to get our first dragon. Does anyone have a daily/weekly schedule for feeding, lighting, and general care? I have seen a few online but are not sure if they are trustworthy.

Daily and weekly feeding does generally vary from beardie to beardie.

I could send you a sheet of what I do with my beardies?

If you want to PM me I will ping it over and some general information to answer your questions.

You basically want to keep your lights on a 12/12 schedule or something similar. I use a 14/10 schedule they go on at 6am so that they can warm up and I can feed them before work and off at 8pm so I can feed and care for them a few hours before they go to bed when I get home from work. As far as feeding, it depends on the age of the dragon. Babies should eat bugs 3 times a day every day where Adults can eat once a day every other day or so. Each dragon is going kinda dictate what they want. 2 of mine I had since they were babies and at a certain age they stopped wanting to eat 3 times a day then they only wanted to eat once a day. I always try to feed them bugs every day but find that they only want them a few times a week now. Salads should be offered every day at every age.

There's a link to general care at the bottom of my post with some great information in it, you should give it a read!
