Hey everyone. I'm making a custom cage for my wife's Bearded Dragon named Puff. The cage is 2X2X4, so I'm having to build UP! I want to make a habitat that's fun, gives him plenty of things to do, exercise, and places to Couch Potato. These first two pics are what i've done so far, and my wife wants me to keep building up. I'm here to get any and all advice on how to keep our awesome dude safe. Thanks SO MUCH!

Dragons need floor space not height - if I was you I would build length wise -- as they get older and develop health issues one being mobility not saying yours but as a precaution you do not want height - its easier for them to be on the floor rather than height -- a 4x2x2 tank is best or longer -- depending on how long the tank is will determine the UVB fixture length -- you do not want him falling from a good height -- also your going to need to keep the UVB at the correct distance and I see a coil in the tank posted --the coils are horrible for UVB and a tank that size the dragon wont get any UVB at all --- coils are not recommended for any tank but that is my op and experience w/ them --
