Hi i side with Ceramic..last longer, no light source to make problems with night heat or uvb timing schedule. Just remember your guard

During the day you want to use a basking bulb. Either one made for lizards or a Par 38 halogen flood lamp. You want to mimic daylight during the day. At night you should use a CHE only if the temps in the tank drop below 65 degrees.

Yeah I was a little confused here....are you talking about for all the time?

Day time you need a basking bulb

Night time if temps dip below 65 add the CHE....(Ceramic Heat Emitter)

Either way the Basking Bulb is a MUST; the bread and the UVB tube lights are the butter.

Two musts of bearded dragons is their lighting.

(Yes, there are other important things)
