Well this is where I stand right now. One 4'x8' sheet of 3/4" melemine plywood cut into 2 pieces of 2'x4', 2 pieces cut at 2'x2', and one piece cut into 2'x46.5"

I'm trying these u bars that Home Depot had for slides for the glass but I'm not sure if I'm going to like them. I have to return to Home Depot to take back the glass I bought that was 24"x30" because turns out it's privacy glass so you can't see through it and I want to see Phoenix haha. The edges inside are all drying from the sealer.

The roof is waiting to be put on because the glass is suppose to fit snug between the top and bottom boards in the slide system. So I'm thinking I will have to insert the glass then put the roof on holding it in place. It should still have enough room to slide freely

I will post more later today when it's finished

So here's the outter finished vivarium. Waiting for the sealant to dry and I can put the plexi in the slides, I'm checking the lighting right now to see what my hot spot looks like. So far at the bottom of the tank with no flooring in its 92 degrees. Under the bulb. I will add a rock or something for him to get closer obviously.

How should I mount the uvb? If I mount it on the roof It will be 24" from the ground and that's not close enough is it?

Love the ramps, question about the repti carpet. Are you going to velcro it onto the ramps so it can be removed and cleaned easily?

It actually is Velcrod down right now it's just lifting in the middle a bit because it was rolled up so I'm hoping it will flatten out after a while.

Okay, cool. It should flatten a bit. Maybe rest something on top of it like some stones or something.

Well this is the current set up I have now, put Phoenix back in the big cage after I felt that the smell of the silicone was gone. But now I feel as if it's there again I'm not to sure what to do about it. Besides build a new one and not use any at all. I don't want him getting sick from it leaving him in there
