Is this part of shedding? I haven’t seen this before, looks like back by his tail it’s rubbed raw. He hasn’t scratched it or injured it. Wondering if anyone knows what’s happening thanks

That almost looks like a burn- how close is the basking bulb?

Pretty far away, not real close. On his basking spot it gets to be around 85 to 90 degrees
It should be at least 6" above him and surface basking should be 95-100 for a 6 month and older dragon- I have some one taking a look at it to see what they think it is

Here is what she has asked
Can they post a few pics of the entire enclosure so we can take a close look to see if there's anything it could have scraped on ? As for the wound, applying raw unpasteurized honey should heal it very well. Make sure there's no chance of loose crickets or dubias in the enclosure , they would go after that wound and in a very short time make it worse.

Thank you for the help, here’s what his enclosure looks like. Last few day I moved his uvb light to a different location. Not sure if that could have caused it.

Not sure what caused the wound but raw honey should heal it right up. From a beekeeper or health store, raw unpasteurized honey. It's good on your cereal, toast and tea as well. :)
Please get the UVB unobstructed NO screen either in the tank or take the screen off - he needs to be able to get directly under the UVB 12-15 inches -- how old is the UVB bulb? I would also get a digital probe thermometer for surface basking temps- 95-100 the one you have is giving only ambient temps
