Concerned About Water / Bathroom Time

I think this is category for health but anyways I was told by the reptile store staff that we shouldn’t put water in her enclosure because adults mostly just make a mess with it but it’s hard enough to get my girl to even drink water. She barely eats veggies. She will eat a bell pepper that I make sure to spray with water and hand feed her but that’s all. She will eat the cut up one and that’s it. Then the rest goes to waste. I just gave her a bath and tried doing the nose trick where you drip it so they lick but she only did it once. She has only pooped twice since I’ve had her. I got her January 16th. She pooped the next day on the 17th and it was watery. Then the next time was on the 21st and it was a good normal one. It had form but still look shiny not dry. I’m getting my new set of appropriate lights from what Sadie has told me to get and it’s coming in on Saturday. Any feedback would be great. Thank you.

Let me tell you, don't listen to any advice that any PetCo, PetSmart, etc. tells you.
Leave water in her enclosure, DON'T ever leave her without it.
The watery fecal matter is because of the bell pepper.
Feed her some more kale/greens (That are safe.) along with the bell pepper to negate it.

How often should she be pooping though? Are those two bathroom times too far apart? And why is it that she never goes in her enclosure? Why is it whenever she is able to walk around a room freely?

Get a spray bottle, spray the very front where her mouth parts and a little water on the top, don’t spray in her nose obviously, how i give my beardy is I spray the very front then the two sides of her lips , i wait till the water recedes spray again, eventually she licks her lips then i spray in her mouth, if ur worried shes not getting enough water get her a dish, beardies dont drink standing water but there are a couple weirdos out there

If your UVA and UVB has not been correct this is probably contributing towards the bowl movements. Your beardies poop shouldn’t be dry though, it should always been a bit moist (from what I’ve read). Dry would suggest dehydrated. If your beardie is not eating salads and greens, don’t considering not offering them - still offer them daily, maybe try a different variation - just because they’re showing no interest initially this doesn’t mean that one day won’t just wake up and fancy it. Keep the bugs your feeding your beardie ‘gut loaded’ and hydrated and spray the salads. Also you can spray the enclosure and keep trying the nose drip technique. Keeping the water in the enclosure is no issue as long as it’s a shallow bowl and your humidity is not already too high. If you’ve only had her for a short amount of time she may also just be adjusting / a little stressed due to the location change - this can also effect their eating / pooping x
