Is it quite common for beardies to change colour as they get older?

Very common. Colors and patterns both may change drastically over time depending on genetic background. It's a wonderful experience watching your baby grow and change over time

Yeah I've noticed with Rheagal that he had lots of pale lime green in him when we first got him and that is starting to fade and now he is getting a lot of orange coming through.

I've seen pics of youngsters with shades of only browns and tans change into fully grown beardies that are a VERY yellow all over with no trace of their original colors! He is still really pretty young yet, right? It'll be cool watching him develop over time!

Yeah not sure his exact age I'm guessing about 8 month.
