went to work today to hear cries coming from a clothing donation bin outside of my store. so i grabbed the bolt cutters. cut the lock and found a puppy inside. people just puss me off. how could you just throw a puppy into a closed steel container in 100 degree weather. police said if i found out who did it, they would look the other way if i lost my temper a bit. tickin me off is not a good idea when animals are involved. anyway, one of the older ladies in the neighborhood asked if she could have it and i said yes. she's already taken it to the vet and named her LUCKY, happy ending but im still mad!

What a bunch of sh!t ya some peeps just don't get it. The wife said a lady came in with a abandon puppy today also. It doesn't take that much time to post a for give away add if you don't want it or cant afford it anymore, shelters all over the place. Just makes no sense

I don't know what is so hard about just raising a damn dog.Alot of people abandon and walk away from their responsibilities just because society tells them they can and that it's an option.I don't know...I'm only 24 but I have that old-school mindset of knuckling down and dealing with the responsibilities I take.I can say I don't want to purchase any more animals until I get a slightly larger house though lol.(some people have a roster on here that dwarves mine in comparison^.)

why do people have to be so heartless. IVe liked you post coz im glad the Why the hell do people either give in to their kids " i want" or decide off the cuff to buy something without doing research into how to look after in including the cost of food shelter ect. Makes me mad :(
fed up with the " it was a good idea at the time" comments form people!

I think alot of the animals given to shelters and abandoned are for that reason; kids want it and parents don't say no. then the animal is just TOSSED when the novelty wears off. or the parents realize how much it costs.

We have had dogs, rabbits, guineapigs, hamsters, fish and the best pet we have ever had are our dragons. I would never have done any of our animals, our dogs had to be put to sleep due to old age and lack of quality of life, our hamsters & fish just came to the end of their life naturally & the rabbit & guineapigs were rehomed as my daughter was allergic to them. She was also allergic to the hamster & the dogs but they were here first and as it wasnt a severe allergy she wasnt too bad. Dragons = no fur daughter has no allergies, happy daughter as she can handle them without getting stuffed up & itchy. Getting our first dragon was also something we thot long and hard about. Our Daughter first asked for one when she was 5, she had seen one at our local sea life centre and asked for one then, told her no as we didnt know much about them, once she was 10 she had been doing a lot of research on them, came second in her class at school with a project she done on them so we decided she could get one, which went to 2 then 3 etc and the rest is history lol.
