A lot of the ones at my local pet store like that though are rescues. I thought about this post for a long time and remembered that every single one of them except some of the hatchlings they keep in much too close of quarters that are missing pieces are all rescues. I feel bad, and something does need to be done. The general public needs to be made more aware. I won't let any one adopt more than one of my beardies at a time when they hatch, and I will tell them why so they don't go get a friend for it later. My sister in law has already asked me if she could offer her friends a discount if they would buy more than one of them at a time... I told her I wouldn't sell more than one of them at a time. We can only change the world one small bit at a time.sooo many times i've walked into a local reptile store and seen perfect little babies with missing feet and legs. It's disgusting, something needs to be done
