clicker training

I have a two year old beardie named smaug and i am in the process of training him to come to the sound of a dog clicker and its working out very well he comes to the clicker almost everytime because if he comes to the sound he gets awarded with a cricket but right now he is in burmation so i can really do anything with him right now

it toke him about a month to realize if to comes to the sound he gets food

yea at first i asked people at the pet stores and they said that bearded dragons arent smart enough so i did it to kinda prove them wrong

Uhh I met like 4 people at my pet store with beardies and they all say that theyre very smart and can be trained... at least 1 of them already actually has theirs trained like that, so i dunno what those people are talking about lol. They probably only owned other lizards.

yea i have smaug and then i have raptor who's a 5 year old green anole who hatched in my hand and smaug is a lot smarter then raptor

lol thats so cute that he hatched in your hand my baby is named smaug too

yea but since he's 5 years old thats old for agreen anole and he's also going blind

yea green anoles only live about 6 or 7 years
