Hi Guys,

I personally think this is a part of husbandry that isn't talked about enough (or taken lightly in some cases) so lets hear how you guys do it.

I'm obsessive about my cleaning routine as i have multiple species inside the house all from diffrent areas and all have different dietary requirements. I clean ALL the enclosures every 6-8 weeks (FULL clean) spot clean as necessary

1 ) Remove specimen and place an escape proof container
2 ) Spray all furnishing with F10 (veterinary grade disinfectant)
( I always have two sets of furnishing)
3 ) Clean all food bowls with F10
4 ) spray handling equipment with F10
5 ) Remove all substrate
6 ) spray/scrub all tiles used in enclosures with F10
7 ) Spray (leave for 5 mins) and scrub entire enclosure with F10
8 ) Replace substrate with clean fresh ones
9 ) Remodel enclosure (with spare furnishing) to give variety to the
specimen to explore
10 ) replace specimen and feed if necessary.

*F10 is equivalent to Nolvasan (i think as i don't have nolvasan available to me). I love the F10 though that stuff is strong enough to even kill rabies and the parvovirus lol.

Put babies in bathtub (No not together). Pull all tile out and wash with anti bacterial soap, then clean with scalding water and let dry. Take my steam cleaner and steam the whole cage. Wipe out with fresh clean towel. Since I also use brick I steam them and for the wood clean with scalding water and let dry( put in the stove every few months). Food dishes get washed in dish washer every other night and rinsed after. I do this also every six to eight weeks because usually they poo in the bath tub so clean up are seldom. I have a roach dish like the kind you can put a pot in so they can get it but the roaches cant get out. If I am doing something wrong feel free to tell me.

Full tank clean out eveery 6 weeks

Pull out tile (1 tank at a time) and soak tiles in diluted bleach, while soaking I spray down interior of tank with nolvasan (veterinary grade disinfectant much like your F10 i suspect). I take the tile out of the soak and set it out to dry, i line the tank with newspaper for the time that the tile is drying and put the dragon back in. Repeat 5 times lol.

i give mine a thorough clean every 2-3 weeks as use half tile and half sand and repti clay mix and constanly spot cleaning daily but also daily i clean salad bowl and water bowl and clean glass on front of tank once a week how they manage to get greens stuck to the glass still gets me.
i got that many fixtures and fitting i tend to remove everything give the viv a good scrub and replace fixtures and fittings with different stuff, and then scrub the stuff i took out and store it ready for the next clean

I steam clean monthly, and every other week I tend to take the lil vac and get all the little stuff my whisk and dustpan miss, then I swipe everything down with a water/lemon juice solution, allow to air dry and we are good until the next time.. Daily, or several times daily spot cleaning... depending on the "offender" lol
