I’ve been pondering on how I might make or buy a non porous alternative to branches. I read something online about soaking them in bleach, rinse, then dry. But I don’t care too much for that idea.. the wood would absorb the bleach and I’d never get it “rinsed”. My dragon is roughly 3 months old and he spends most of his time chilling on that branch and inevitably pooping on it. I don’t want to have to go through some elaborate process every day..

Scrubbed with cleaning brush or tooth brush in small amount of bleach in hot water. Then rinsed with hot water. Has to dry after. You could substitute red wine vinegar for the bleach.
Or if the branch is smooth you can just clean the area that had the poo on it with a wadded paper towel that has the same mixture on it, then follow with a wet rag or wad of paper towels.
