What is your method of cleaning poo and potential pathogens from branches in his enclosure??
I dont use them in my tanks but I do know someone who does let me post to themWhat is your method of cleaning poo and potential pathogens from branches in his enclosure??
I’ve been pondering on how I might make or buy a non porous alternative to branches. I read something online about soaking them in bleach, rinse, then dry. But I don’t care too much for that idea.. the wood would absorb the bleach and I’d never get it “rinsed”. My dragon is roughly 3 months old and he spends most of his time chilling on that branch and inevitably pooping on it. I don’t want to have to go through some elaborate process every day..I dont use them in my tanks but I do know someone who does let me post to them
Scrubbed with cleaning brush or tooth brush in small amount of bleach in hot water. Then rinsed with hot water. Has to dry after. You could substitute red wine vinegar for the bleach.I’ve been pondering on how I might make or buy a non porous alternative to branches.
