Chubby arms and legs?

Hi! My name is Robin :) I’m new here and basically just signed up to ask a few questions and to get people’s opinions..

I work at a reptile shop, and we take in a lot of rescue animals.

This is Marshall, Marshall is supposedly a 3 year old beardie! :) he’s a super lovely boy and I really want to be the one to take him home.

The only thing I’ve come to ask about is if he looks okay.. I think he seems healthy, he sits with his head raised, he’s alert, he’s eaten bugs and veg since he’s been with us and he’s basking. But he arrived super dirty so I’ve been bathing him to deal with that — I’m just a little concerned about his arms and legs? They look a little bit tubby to me and he’s got some loose skin, but he’s got no fat behind his armpits so I was wondering if he was just losing weight with his previous owners? or is it something I should be more concerned about?

I feel like I’m being overly paranoid, I just wanted to get the opinion of other people

Just peeped that he could also be dehydrated, he seems to be drinking l in the bath but I haven’t seen him drink in his enclosure yet so he might not have been shown at a young age, I think I’m worrying too much :)

If hes drinking in the bath that is good --- you dont need to bath him every day or more than once a week - it will dry his scales out - he looks good for a rescue -- and yes hes got the pop eye arms going which is fine - hes got good fat pads and the trunk of his tail is good and fat and thick- rinsing his greens before serving will also keep him hydrated - just make sure he has good surface basking temps taken w / a digital probe thermometer 95-100 and a good UVB --- long tube fixture NO coils please - it needs to be placed and distanced for the screen on the tank -- if you need help w/ that please ask -- all that being said he will thrive
