I found this pic and the fact that the lady has gloves on while handling her water dragon puzzled me....

I don't know anything about them but the only thing I can think of is they don't want to risk getting salmonella from it.

Yeah, I dont know anything about them either except they have the most beautifull eyes and colours....
I thought they maybe had extra long/sharp nails or their scales may be harder than BD's . . . .

Well it was worth an asking.

I'd be willing to bet it's because of the nails. Water Dragons are arboreal and live in somewhat similar conditions to Frilled Dragons. With them being big climbers, most of the keepers don't cut the nails and those suckers hurt when they don't get cut. I don't cut Frank's nails because I want him to still have his climbing ability and I'm almost positive this is the case here. The fact that there's a harness on it kinda shows it's at least semi-docile.
