Ok so you should have your lights running 12-14 hours a day right? Say you turn them on at 8am and off at 8pm, would the dragon go to sleep at 8pm? So after that time you wouldn’t be able to play with them or take them out the enclosure. Just because I go to sleep pretty late and that’s quite early.

Put him on your schedule --- they will go to sleep when the lights are shut off --- dragons like it dark to sleep-

I have my lighting come on at 6:50, and turn off at 7 at night, yes you’re correct, when its dark, leave them be, I actually had my beardy hiss at me when i woke her up once to check on her.

I have mine on 12 hours and off 12 hours. I line it up with the sunset and sundown.

If worried about getting up early to turn lights on, you can get automatic light timers that will do the job for you.

Why do you wait until after 8 to interact with your BD? Start earlier.

I don’t have one yet I’m getting one soon, I was just wondering if it meant that I wouldn’t be able to get them out in the evening thats all.
