Can someone explain what this is?

About two weeks ago kouki started to develop this weird beard fold. but it doesnt seem to go away, i found a very small black/brown spot with a tiny splinter in the “fold”

Hello, do you have a Exotic Vet near you? Do you know how Kouki could of got the splinter? How old is Kouki? Is he acting sluggish?

I am not sure what is going on w/ this --- are you using a colored bulb in the tank? Purple? Please post a pic of the dragons tank and lighting --------- what kind of substrate are you using ? Splinter like a wood splinter ?

The Purple light you see is from my LED RGB Strips i have hung around my room.

And the substrate im using is a woodchip/pebble mix

I had a friend of mine look at your dragons beard and this is what she said

How is the beardie acting otherwise , is it eating normally ? It doesn't seem to be a health problem but if they are concerned they could have a vet take a look. I'd also suggest removing the wood + pebble substrate because of impaction risk..
