So, I woke up this morning and feed my beardies. Virgil of course would not eat anything but a wax worm and that was it. But I decided to put some water in to the phoenix worm containers because the day before I noticed they were kinda dry. So upon opening a container I saw something walking and I closed the container set it aside and put a smidge of water into the other 3 containers. When I went back into my room I put the container into the feeding tank and opened the lid of the phoenix worms and then closed the lid. I didn't see anything in the container so I stuck the tongs in and this FLY climbed out onto my tongs scared the day lights out of me because I thought it was a spider. I am sure though its a solider fly. I didn't know they would morph without proper heat but my room does get kinda hot.
ANYWAYS, my main question is can I feed it to one of my little guys or should I just kill it and dispose of the body?

That happened to me also but the fly morphed in his cage. I never expected that to happen. I threw the fly out but I think it would have been ok to feed however. The only thing I have heard that can be deadly to a Bearded Dragon is a lighting bug.

It's ok to feed them the flys. It says so on their website. :D At room temperature the maggots will morph into flys after 2-3 weeks.

Thought I would add this, I had a common house fly (black fly) in my house the other day. Went to feed my BD and he flew in the enclosure. I told Aries, "We don't allow guest in our House" and right after I said that, he jumped in the air, caught and ate the fly. Nothing happened after he ate him and he is doing good now. He has also caught and ate ants too. No harm done.
