Please donate money for Leo since I can't fully afford to help him with his care. I'm unemployed but seeking to get money somehow.

Also on how leo is doing he doesnt eat everyday but eats his vegetables every other day and same goes to the fruits. I don't offer him any insects since he has gout and animal protein will create a bigger problem. But lately leo has been eating less than usual which is a bad sign. I do supplement his food once or twice a week and he normally eats leavy greens like kale and spinach with lettuce. He eats less of the fruits but
normally at this point i only give him vegetables. He is six years old and is around 14 inches since he has a stubby tail due to tail rot. Leo still is active but his gout has gotten worse where he seems more in pain. I am planning to get him black cherry juice so he can recover. Leo's basking area would reach 95 and pushing a little towards 100 depress and the cool side would be in the low seventies since it's cold where I live, Also his uvb bulb isn't new, I got it since July.

Going to the vet?
Well i know I should take him to figure out a way to figure out on how to get his joints drained from the crystals forming inside but yet again I could just try the black cherry extract. So the answer of taking him to vet is well yes, for a checkup to see what's going on with his gout and anything else.

So he was diagnosed by a vet with having gout? Treating for something that you don't know for sure that he has is very dangerous.

I can't donate money, but I can give some advise. Spinach is VERY bad to feed him, it binds to calcium so his body isn't absorbing it. Kale is the same way but you can still use it if you use other dark leafy greens. Lettuce is horrible. Lettuce is all liquid and offers no nutrients whatsoever to him. Lettuce if feed too much, can cause watery stools. Good healthy greens are mustard greens, collard greens, dandelion greens, turnip greens, and endive. Fruits should only be used as an occasional treat due to the high sugar content. Here is a great food link for ideas http://greathousefarm.com/Greathouse-Reptile-Nutrition-List.pdf

His basking temp should be 95-98 degrees. Try to bump that up a bit and also make sure that your UVB bulb is current. The wrong temps and lights can cause eating problems and not getting the right nutrients can cause MBD which can be painful.

Leo didn't go the vet but he has the symptoms of gout and his arm, feet, and joints became swollen. I first saw he had gout around december and used regular cherry juice many times and he was ok but nowhat a week ago one of his arms became worse. And he does eat a lot of collards but he eats more of Kale and he also likes carrots.
You have good advice on what to feed him more oftenly and it makes sense of what you were explaining to me. Luckily leo is still eating and is active. Right now I'll just feed him other leavy greens more like collards and other leafy greens. I will get him black cherry juice to help him much more.

I am trying to help leo much as I can

Leo is six years old and I rescued him from a petstore, he had mbd and was skinny but he grew bigger when I got him since I fed him more vegetables along with fruits. I had him since he was one years old. Also I'll get my own money to help him so I won't ask anyone to donate money.

Glad you took care of him and got him healthy when you did. MBD can also cause swelling of the joints. Even though we think we are giving them the right amounts of calcium and vitamins they need, MBD can sneak up on us. I have a female that looking at her, you would never have suspected she had it and the vet took an X-ray and sure enough there it was. So even our best efforts aren't as good as we think they are.

Yes mbd can always come back since it's hard to recover. And he may sound Still have mbd. When I got him he walked a little wobbly and was only 14 inches long but grew up to 17 inches and gained so much weight even though he had tail rot and is maybe 15 or 16 inches now but still is huge. But giving advice and trying efforts to help is good enough.

Well what I can say is that I just need to modify his diet and add extra calcium for him and get the black cherries. I'm sure his bones can heal quite a bit.
I'm also helping my female leopard gecko that has mbd that I rescued from the same pet store that I got leo from. I got my leopard gecko in July and she still needs help with her mbd a little bit more. She's doing good since she was skinny and had stuck shed buy now my leopard gecko has gained more weight and has a better body shape where she seems to look more like she can stand up better.
