Someone got these for my bearded dragon as a treat, yet they didn't ask what they were, so before I feed them to him id like to know what they are. I've never seen them move, and if it helps the price was 4.99 for 100

These are black solider fly larva aka phoenix worms great calcium feeders! just don't add more calcium The blacker that they are the closer they are to changing and at the highest level of calcium so feed the darker ones first

Yup ^^ definitely black solider fly larvae. From the looks of it they will be flies any moment now. Once they turn black and stiffen up almost like they are dried out and dead, you have a fly about to bust out
