Hey does anybody happen to have any ideas on what I should add to his cage? It’s pretty boring and empty right now but I was holding off on adding stuffs because I was worried he would get claustrophobic or not have enough room. So my question is if I should even add anything at all and if yes what should I add. (I attached a photo) it’s 120 gallon

If anybody has any suggestions I would be so grateful, thanx!

You want a digital probe hygrometer placed on the back center wall of the tank - I would replace the reptile carpet w/ either a black matt from Zens Habitat or some textured NON adhesive shelf liner sold at Walmart or your local home improvement store - I would look at getting some sort of greenery I use a fake green plant stuck by a magnet I ordered off of Amazon - I also have pieces of slated ceramic tile in the tank running width wise to keep the nails down -- I will post a pic of the tank -- on second thought I will when the program starts working again --

Thanx for the response! So I will get a digital hygrometer, what humidity levels should I be looking out for as far as standard health for him. The slated ceramic is a great idea but don’t you think it would block his ability to see outside (he loves the view) if I put it on the wall like your suggesting, maybe I’m misunderstanding.

Tile goes on the floor of tank-- I use two pieces width wise- I have a zen habitat black matt w/ the tile on top of it - I need to see how wide it is- humidity optimal is 40-50% you don't want under 20% or over 70%-- I sent a pic of the tank

Definitely get rid of the carpet. Linear USB light along with basking light. Temp gun helps monitor if it’s the correct temp. You need a good basking spot (I use a sheet of slate). Cool side & warm side. Branches to climb on, they do love to climb. Here’s a pic of my 4x2x2.

Thanx for you help I got him a black Matt and his hydrometer is on its way. Im realizing since I got my new tank that my uvb height might not be correct what would you suggest height wise. It’s a t5 10.00 bulb and the cover has very small holes not the wide holes. The terrarium is 24 inch’s high.

The UVB needs to go in the tank --- directly above a piece of basking decor 12-15 inches -- you can use 3M velcro fasteners -- long plastic zip ties or picture wire hanger -- I recommend those - easily bendable
