Butternut Squash?

So, I've been trying to get Autumn to eat her greens for a bit now, but the only thing she's shown interest in so far is baked butternut squash. She loved it so much, she even accidentally bit my hand trying to get it all in her mouth. (Unfortunately she hasn't been willing to eat from my hand since... Probably because I instinctively pulled back - neither of us were hurt, thankfully, but I can see her being nervous as a result.)

...Anyway. To end the babble. I'm wondering if butternut squash can be used as a staple, or if it's too sugary for a baby beardie (2 months) to be eating all the time? (Other suggestions on what/how to feed her would also be appreciated.)

ignore the kale info it is outdated and a good staple
the squash is a staple but careful it could cause watery stools if shes eating too much

Staple greens would be leafy greens, such as collard greens, mustard greens, kale, dandelion greens, turnip greens, arugula. You can add chopped or grated squashes to the leafy greens, but the butternut squash may give her loose stools if you feed it too frequently. Bell peppers are good, peeled prickly pear pads (not the fruit), occasionally a little carrot. You really want the leafy greens.

I've been feeding her a rotating mix of collard greens, mustard greens, turnip greens, bok choy and cilantro, as well as green lettuce. Though I'm now less sure on that last one. Also sometimes carrots. But out of all of it, the only thing she's actually willing to eat has been the squash, so. I might try feeding her a tiny bit every day just to get something other than bugs in her system.

Another question, if you don't mind - what are your feelings on waxworms? I got some to offer as a treat, and was thinking, like, maybe *one* a week? That means a lot of wax worms are going to go to waste, unless I find someone else to pawn them off on, but I don't wanna risk Autumn getting addicted. I just thought it would be a nice treat for her. (I've also got some butterworms and silkworms. I probably shouldn't have gotten them all at once, but... too late for regrets now. My basic idea is to rotate out the treats I give her both to ensure she doesn't get too attached to any one and to introduce a variety of nutrients.)

Still struggling to get her to eat salad, btw. I think I'm going to try and mix tiny bits of it in with the squash as a starter, and go from there. (She'll eat squash right out of my hand - and eagerly, at that. Also BSFL, if less eagerly.)

Shred the squash and put it on top -- waxworms are a fatty worm and long term use and too many will / can cause liver damage- I would feed them off 2-3 every other day and then dont get anymore- super worms 1-3 every other day and horn worms are good treat worms-

Oof, noted. The wax worms might be better off as a one time thing, then, yeah. I don't have any superworms at the moment (I'm a little nervous of them because they can actually bite her) but... I'm probably just being a scaredy cat, and should actually get some for her at some point.

She's sadly uninterested in the hornworms so far - I'm letting them get a bit bigger and seeing if that changes, but so far she won't even try them. Maybe just the lack of movement? She literally was more willing to bite her food bowl itself than the horn worm in it, though. Hopefully I have better luck with the other treat worms I got her, but I'd really love it if she took to hornworms, what with how dry the enclosure still is

Horn worms grow really fast and will out grow her- I have never met a dragon that did not like horn worms

I'm aware, but I can't get her to eat it so far. I put it in her bowl, she ignored it. I offered it in my hand, she looked at me like I was crazy. I half think she thinks they're some sorta salad

I fed her some squash mixed with collard greens today. She ate a bit - then looked at me like she'd been betrayed and ran off to cry in the corner. (More seriously, I'm just glad I got her to eat a bit, especially since it's a multivitamin day. I don't know if she was actually upset, or just decided one bite was enough, but she didn't take more from me.)
