Thinking about adopting this older female in need. She was abandoned after someone was evicted. She was going with no heat source but the rescue thinks this is a burn scar. Any one have any ideas if this is correct & what I should look for when going to check her out? Thanks in advance..

She is such a cutie!! I love older rescues they are just too special ❤️! And that could very likely be a burn scar I’ve never seen one so severe though the poor girl but the one I saw though smaller was similar with that white spot and blackness around and the lack of scales. She looks really healthy though and definitely would be an awesome rescue :)

It looks like a burn to me, poor girl :( , when going to get her, id see how she walks, if she’ll take food while ur there, she does look pretty good , her nails could use a trim, it looks like shes been givin subpar husbandry, but nothing i see is a red flag.
