Hey guys! My little dude Dash loves the dubia roaches and superworms. Only they get out if his bowl. I dont see them in the enclosure (I sealed the mat because I didnt want them going under it) but still dont see them after they make it out of the bowl. I hand feed him bugs, but I just wanted to make sure he will hunt the bugs in his enclosure? He is for sure gaining weight I just want to make sure he can find his bugs!

Small roaches wont be able to get out of a bowl w/ a lip something like this - after they get so big tho you wont be able to keep them in the bow;l

You can keep them in critter keepers( found at pet stores..add some styrofoam egg cartons for the dubias to hide in). The dubias cant climb the smooth plastic walls. Dont keep the supers and dubias together though. Just pull out what you are feeding and then return the ones your dragon didnt eat as soon as he is done. To gut load, add in an apple piece or two, the flukers orange cubes, and any leftover veggies your dragon didnt eat. The supers should be kept in the bran substrate they came in, along with the same...a piece of fruit, leftover veggies, and you can also use plain old fashioned quaker oats (not the flavored or instant kind) for the supers but not for the dubias. This makes them well hudrated and more nutritious for the dragon. Always dust your bugs with calcium (repticalcium powder without d3). The only feeder insects you dont have to dust are bsfl (black soldier fly larva), also known as calciworms or phoenix worms. Those you dont have to do anything to, just keep them in the cup they came in.

Ah cool! I did get a little bug feeder for him. Its a bit to big at the moment but he will grow into it. And why cant you keep the roaches and superworms together? I only put them together in his food bowl, I keep them in the separate containers. Is that okay? Also I will look into the calcium! Any good brand you recommend?

Oh yeah in his feeding dish is fine...I just meant if you are storing them in a critter keeper instead of their original containers, use 2 seperate containers to store them in. ZooMed repticalcium without d3 is a good one.
