Brumation

a little confused/confused. I just took in a bearded dragon from some people that weren’t taking care of her at all an they said that she doesn’t go through brumation but she stopped eating an has been asleep all day underneath her branch so I’m wondering if she is going through brumation or maybe I need to bring her to the vet?

If she keeps doing that for the next week she is problaby going through brumation. Give her warm baths and let her sleep when she wants. I wouldn’t worry about it to much unless she acts weird

In order to rule out lighting causing this issue cuz it will please post what your using for a UVB coil or tube ? Brand and bulb where in the tank is it? Basking temps what are they and how are you taking them? NO stick ons they are inaccurate-- she will go thru relocation stress as well but she should be eating something as well -- get a weight on her kitchen food scale weigh in grams -- if shes losing a lot of weight there is a issue -- brumation they will lose some but they should not lose a lot --- keep track of the weight and make sure she stays hydrated as well ---- but lets rule out the lighting first
