Do 6-7 month old dragons Brumate? Sammy is roughly 7 months old. She’s been very healthy and eating as usual. Lately she has been going to bed a couple hours early. This morning, her bulb went out. I had it replaced within a couple hours and she barely noticed and did not seem stressed. She ate a bit of veggies after and basked most of the morning. She is not eating normal today and has not touched her crickets. But yesterday she ate an insane amount than her normal. I just went to check on her and she is asleep in her cubby that she has never used. The weather is pretty cool. But I’ve heard young ones do not brumate. Any suggestions or could this be a sign to brumation?

Young ones do not brumate unless she is REALLY big for her age--- it is most likely the weather--- they tend to get real lazy and if she really ate a lot yesterday then she is not as hungry today normal --- As long as your basking temps are good and the UVB is properly placed she should be fine- she is basking and eating so that is good -- let her do her thing--- make sure you do not leave those crickets in her tank --- and make sure you get them all out they will come out at nite and bite ---

Ok. I am not sure if she is big for her age or not. I’ll post a recent photo. I’ve just never seen her go to bed in the day and has never used her little cubby. No crickets in the tank. I pulled them this morning when she didn’t eat them. Just very odd behavior for her so wanted to check. Thank you I will keep an eye on her.
