When does Brumation start?

Started to go into hiding, and hasn't eaten much.

Neither of mine have really done it yet. They've slowed down but never hid and slept. Is she shedding? How is she when you bring her out of the tank?

My friend was just telling me the same thing about hers, started a few weeks ago! That he all of a sudden was hiding underneath things in his tank and not eating quite as much but that he doesn't seem to be sick or anything otherwise. Said he's cold all the time because he's on the cold end.
I felt bad I couldn't give her any advice, I don't know anything about this.

No shedding and she wishes to cuddle with me and snuggle up to sleep. May be Pre-Brumation because she doesn't do it all day. She comes out eventually, eats, and then sits and basks for several hours. Today, she hid in her hide away and hid under her paper towels.
