Brumation Scratching

It's that lovely time of year again. We got a huge dump of snow and Artemis has called it for the fall/winter. Last year she had no issues brumating, she went under for almost 5 months straight that lazy bugger. She has been coming in and out, pooping each time and eating, but I have noticed sometimes throughout the day she scratches the sides of her hide. Is this normal? I don't feel any eggs in her belly but find it odd she is scratching around so much.

Thanks!

My girl does this too. They are just trying to get comfy so they can sleep.

Yea my girl is in brummation phase mines is scary to hear her scratching as she got tile in her cage the first time I heard it I was like where is that coming from sounds like someone scratching a chalkboard but it was her under her log scratching away. To get comfy. I'm thinking of giving a a lil blanket for her to lay On so she can be warm and comfy. Here's a pic of mines
