Brumation question

Hi all, I have a brumation question. I've read all I can about it. My issue is, my one year old Zeus. He is very vibrant for about 4 or 5 hrs after he wakes up. Then he either hides himself or his eyes closed on his wooden fortress. Today after about 7 days he finally ate. My question is is that normal or shold he be asleep for days? Yes all my lighting and uvb are all good.

Other question is. I have Zeus and a 7 month old Rein. They both have been in our bedroom since they have been here. I'm disabled from MS so they see me 8 or so hours per day. Also, they both at 8pm get taken out for a bit and they walk over to there bed I've set up next to me. Once they fall asleep I cover them and put them in their tank. My wife is getting aggravated of them taking up so much room in our bedroom. Is it ok to move them in another room? Will they be in lack of a better word pissed?

Thanks for the help

Brumation is different for everyone. Some dragons go in their hides and don't come out for weeks/months and some go in for a few days come out for a few days and go back in for a few days. Some like to eat when they come out and some don't.

They won't get mad if you move them to another room as long as they still get to spend some time with you during the day. They may be a little upset at first as they are trying to get used to their new surroundings but they should adjust just fine.

Thanks for your help. Brumation is scary for first timers.
Trying to convince my wife that it will upset the dragons if we put them in another room. Frankly i think they enjoy me always being there.

Brumation is scary for everyone! You just never know what to expect even when they've done it before. Brumation is how I first ended up with 2 dragons. I thought that my girl at a year old was going to go to sleep and I was going to miss her, so I got another baby. She didn't go to sleep and I had my hands full with 2 dragons! Now I have three, and really have my hands full but have learned to embrace this time of year when they are all sleeping at the same time and I can have some me time! Me time meaning more attention to all the other reptiles in the house LOL!
