Brumation & poop

So it appears my guy Spike is brumating. He’s been asleep in his hide for 4 days now. However, I am very concerned as he pooped a few days before it started and did eat right before going to sleep.
He woke after sleeping for one day and I did give him a bath to try and promote a BM, but nothing happened. He was seeming his normal self that day so I offered some silkworms and he readily ate them. Next morning he was back in his hide and has stayed there sleeping for 4 days now.
I’m worries that the food will rot in his belly. Should I disturb him and try a bath again? Should I crank up his temps to bring him out of brumation...would that even work?
Please advise.

Probably not -- keep an eye on him-- its common for them to not poop for long periods of time - you need to keep him hydrated tho - so every 10 days or so I would bring him out and offer him water either by dropping on his nose or bathing however he normally drinks water --- you need to get a kitchen food scale and keep track of his weight - weigh in grams - keep a chart and watch his weight - he can loose a little bit thru brumation but most of the time if they are in good health they will sustain it -- if hes losing a lot of weight then there is a issue and a vet visit would be in order --
