I got the cage for christmas and moved him in the Monday after Xmas. The first couple days he seemed stressed. I would say probably 1 and 1/2 weeks agoSeems a little young to be brumating, tho i hear they can as young as 6month but the average is 8 months. How long has he been doing this?
He eats great! I dont have a water bowl in his enclosure. Should I give him one?Ok, does he still eat normally? And drink water?
I give him baths once or twice a week and spray his nose when I get him outYou dont have to give him a water bowl, how do you give him water? During the brumation period, a bearded dragon will likely to stop eating and drinking water, so if he still eats great probably not going into brumation
it could be reloaction stress which happens when a reptile or even a bird gets moved to a new area and they get stressed because of itHe eats great! I dont have a water bowl in his enclosure. Should I give him one?
Ok, I hope that's itit could be reloaction stress which happens when a reptile or even a bird gets moved to a new area and they get stressed because of it
He doesn't really have stress marks, when I first put him there his whole beard was black but not anymore.I agree, does he have stress marks, also as for water just make sure his urate looks healthy, i mist my beardie every morning an hour after she wakes up.
pretty sure it is but just in case you might wanna set up a vet just in caseOk, I hope that's it![]()

Yes, I have a long uvb light and I use a digital probe. It does normally range 95-105. His poop is runny but does not smell super bad. And what i mean by looking odd is shown in the pic. He normally doesn't look like thatHes gonna go thru relocation stress that is normal eating will slow down --- 6-7 month olds DO NOT brumate --- is your lighting up to par meaning NO coils and the tube fixture is properly placed for distance in the tank --- basking temps are up to par 95-110 taken w/ a digital probe thermometer ? Is the poop in good formation - meaning he doesnt have runny stools or stink so bad they are making you leave the room ? That could be a sign of parasites which would cause the lethargic behavior --- looking odd what does that mean?
To me he looks fine and is just relaxing -- hes got the sexy leg thing goingYes, I have a long uvb light and I use a digital probe. It does normally range 95-105. His poop is runny but does not smell super bad. And what i mean by looking odd is shown in the pic. He normally doesn't look like that
