Hi everyone. I have a brand new baby beardy, and I didnt seem to notice at first but one of his toes looks broken to me? He hasnt done anything crazy and hes two days in my possession from Petsmart. He walks, eats, and does everything perfectly normal and it doesnt look infected or very swollen, should i do anything or let natural process happen?

Watch his toe so it does not get infected -- I would soak him in some betadine solution make it look like a weak tea its a antiseptic-- keep a close eye on it if it starts to turn black or when it falls off use some raw unpasteurized honey like Manuka on it --- that will kill any infection starting --- you can use straight or mix w/ a little water for some consistency --- DO NOT leave any crickets in the tank they will right for the honey --- make sure you have proper UVB lighting - NO coils - they are inadequate - your UVB will help w / the healing process -- basking temps should be 105-110 taken w/ a digital probe thermometer -- No stickons please -- if you need more help or have any questions please ask

Yes he has UVB and a basking bulb, Temperature is at 102 right now, My snake had gotten hurt once in my years of owning him and i have silvadene cream left from his injury, and i do believe i have the antibacterial you put into a bath for him. Ill make sure its the right stuff and watch it like a hawk. Theres a 70 day return fee but i could not just take him back and replace him !! Thank you very much for the extra information It helped a ton

The honey is going to work best --- Silvadine is more for burns -- the betadine is a antispetic for washing-- please use the honey if you need it -- https://www.beardeddragon.org/forums/viewtopic.php?f=6&t=251259
Make sure your UVB is of correct distance -- the T 8 and T 5 have different placement and distance requirements I dont know what your using
