Hey all,
I'm totally new to beardies and reptiles in general! I'm still reptile free, but looking to get a beardie in the next month. Currently trti g to collect everything that I will need.
About me: I'm 26, live in Alaska, And work in a petstore! I promise, I'm one of the good ones.

I am also new to reptiles. I just recently got a baby beardie @ 52 yo. At least I think it's a baby...about 6 inches tail included. Not sure if he is a she or not but we have named him Rango for now. He doesn't seem to like the worms but loves the crickets. I am in San Antonio TX and am wondering when I should start introducing him to veggies. Do they also eat fruit? If so what kinds? I have been told and read conflicting things about the fruit so wanted to get with people who have been doing this for a while for some much needed advice. All I can tell you for sure is I am in love with my little guy!!! He tastes me before climbing on me.. is that normal. I have also noticed that in the mornings when his day lights first come on he gets really dark colored...I assume for him to more easily absorb the light and heat to warm him up faster.
