So, being the busy dude that i tend to be, i just dont have time to do my own brakes. Anyway, i went in search of finding somewere that would be able to do it for me that worked with my schedule (ie i was without a car for too long). First place said 366 (shocked the p!ss out of me lol cause it aint a hard job) next place says 280 next says 249. So i say to myself, "self why not look into buying the parts yourself and just paying someone labor". So i look on autozones site to find my parts. Cost 80 bux to buy new pads and replace both rotors. So then i call the cheapest of the 3 quoted above to find out how much the labor would be. 50 bux. So they are telling me that they were going to charge me 119 for for parts that were no were close to that price cause i bout the top end parts for my car and it still cost far less than they were charging me. i dont know how car shops are ever able to sell parts with that kind of markup. Just had to rant.
Shops just charge to much!
