I think they are all pretty bearded. I've only ever really had males and they've been plenty sweet. Almost every reptile I had ended up being male and I've never had an aggressive one of any kind. Some behaviors might be more noticeable like head bobbing with the males and arm waving with the females. Unsure of any real differences in personality.

Hi, No differences in personality. The only thing you will physically see besides the hemipenes is that normally a male will have a much broader, overall bigger head than a female.

Doesn't Female Beardies some times develop infertile eggs as well? So that would be a difference to watch out for!

I chose a male more on the fact we a female African grey and I have a ten yr old daughter two male dogs and I have two sons , my daughter n parrot both seem to have their mood swings lol so I prefer males all round lol :)
