So I've had my bearded dragon for over a month now. I handle him everyday at least 2-3 times to put him in his feeding bin and taking him out. I let him run around my room. I was wondering how I could get him to stay still on me and get some beardie cuddles, everytime i put him on my pants he'll stay still for 5 minutes than go and explore. And i found that when i let him explore and then try to put him back in his tank he runs away from me :(

Tips for bonding?

And by the way I sometimes feed him with tongs

Every dragon has a different personality and tolerance for habitat change and interaction with people. I think you're doing the right things. Just have patience and make sure you move slowly and from the side or back when you pick him up so he doesn't think you're a predator. I always make sure Falkor sees me before I move to pick him up.
