Hey guys? Your opinions? I’ve been to many websites looking for veggies to feed my beardie veggie-wise, and most agree. Except on Bok choy and celery. Some say Never. Some say it’s great! Some say one but not the other, so far I’ve avoided both. I figure best to avoid them. But I want to feed a variety of things.

What is your opinion? What’s your beardie baby’s fave veggies?

Kai likes spring mix (with the spinach removed..its not good for them), arugula, and once in a while celery leaves. He hates collard greens, turnip greens and mustard greens (all the stuff thats good for him sigh!). He is meh about escarole/endive. I have to trick him by sticking bsfl and/or silkworms into his greens and sometimes he gets mouthful of both lol. He kind of likes carrots but I dont offer them often because of the vitamin A. I just ordered some bee pollen powder to further entice him...hes a stubborn guy...we will see how well that works. He is not a fan of bell pepper, tolerates butternut squash sometimes but not acorn squash. Picky dragon! So I generally gut load and always calcium dust all my feeder insects except the bsfl.

It’s so funny how they each have their own personality and likes and dislike.
Wow. Lot to learn about how fussy they can be. Like feeding pre-schoolers. So far I know shaved carrots are a favorite. And shaved summer squash. Others it seems to be on a take it or leave it. Like he might eat it one meal, but snub it and not touch it the next time I give it to him.

Yes...EXACTLY like that! If you have never seen a dragon pout, trust me they do!
