hi all i woke up today and noticed Rango (my beardies name ofc) has a fully dark black beard which ive never seen Rango do before.
ontop of the black beard Rango is not eating and moving very sluggishly, Rango is about 8-9 months old and mainly eats crickets.
the only other behavior ive noticed is, when i picked rango up he did a little wiggle with his hips looking like he had an itchy bum or something, and when i put him back into the tank he did a little head bob which ive never seen Rango do before.
P.S i am unsure of current temp in the tank as he pooped on his thermometer a few days before and broke it but the temp in the tank has never been below 18c or above 40c

please go over the lighting UVB brand and bulb is it a coil or a tube fixture and does the fixture have a reflector on it - where in the tank is it ? top of screen or inside the tank - the head bob is a sign of mating - the black beard could mean several things - hormones w/ the black beard or in distress which would explain the sluggish behavior -- basking temps are 65-104 F -- so what is the basking temp and I am assuming the gauge is a digital probe thermometer ? for a juvie dragon temps should be 95-100 F -- cool side of the tank 80 F - temp at 64 or so I am assuming is nite time temp which is good --- please NO colored bulbs No coils No heat mats or rocks -- basking bulb needs to be a bright white basking bulb NO off white or yellowish bulbs
